OUR OBJECTIVES
Change relevant public policy and regulation to require installation of dark sky compliant outdoor lighting in all existing and new Tasmanian government infrastructure
Influence citizen and corporate behaviour in Tasmania so that dark sky compliant fittings are first choice when designing, changing or reviewing outdoor lighting infrastructure
Protect Tasmania’s existing night sky assets by establishing and maintaining a permanent IDA-certified ‘Dark Sky Place’ within Tasmania
